2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect solely for the following purposes:

Order fulfillment: Processing payments, delivering bot setup instructions, and issuing order confirmations
Account management: Creating and maintaining your account, and authenticating your identity
Customer support: Responding to your tickets, questions, and resolving issues
Transactional communications: Sending essential emails (OTP codes, purchase confirmations, password resets, support updates)
Security monitoring: Detecting and preventing unauthorized access, fraud, and abuse
Platform improvement: Analyzing usage patterns to improve features, performance, and user experience
Legal compliance: Meeting legal obligations, responding to lawful requests, and enforcing our Terms of Service

We do NOT use your data for advertising, behavioral profiling, or sell your information to data brokers or third-party marketers.

Payment processors (Paystack): To complete your transactions securely. Paystack operates under its own privacy policy and PCI-DSS compliance framework.
Email service providers (Resend): To deliver transactional emails on our behalf. These providers are contractually prohibited from using your data for any other purpose.
Law enforcement and legal obligations: When required by applicable law, regulation, court order, or governmental authority, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of VisionFX Sniper and its users.
Business continuity: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred to the successor entity, subject to the same privacy protections.

4. API Keys and Exchange Credentials

When you configure a trading bot, you provide exchange API keys. Here is how we handle them:

API keys are stored using AES-256 encryption at rest
We only request API keys with trading-only permissions — we will never ask for withdrawal permissions
API keys are used exclusively for executing trades on your behalf, never for any other purpose
Our staff cannot view your raw API keys; they are only accessible to the automated bot systems
You can revoke API keys at any time directly through your exchange account

We strongly recommend generating dedicated API keys for our bots with only the minimum necessary permissions.

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration:

All passwords are hashed using bcrypt with salt rounds — they are never stored or transmitted in plain text
All platform communications are encrypted via TLS/HTTPS
Login sessions are protected with two-factor authentication (OTP via email)
Access to production data is restricted to authorized personnel only
We conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments
Security events and access attempts are logged and monitored

No data transmission over the internet or electronic storage method can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. While we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

6. Cookies and Session Data

VisionFX Sniper uses a minimal set of cookies to ensure the platform functions correctly:

Session cookies: Required to maintain your login state and authentication session. These are deleted when you log out or close your browser.
Security tokens: Used for OTP verification, password reset, and CSRF protection.

We do NOT use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, analytics trackers, or any third-party cookies that monitor your behavior across the web.
